Weddings can be exhilarating, but they can also be overwhelming with a flurry of emotions and last-minute preparations. Taking the time to relax and center yourself in the morning sets the tone for the entire day. It allows you to be fully present, appreciating every moment without the burden of stress. It's a day you've been eagerly awaiting, and you deserve to start it with a sense of calm and tranquility.

Furthermore, beginning your wedding day with relaxation helps you manage stress. It's natural to feel a bit nervous or anxious before such an important event. However, by consciously incorporating relaxation practices, such as deep breathing, meditation, or light exercise, you can alleviate tension and foster a calm state of mind.

So, take a deep breath, indulge in self-care, and embrace the serenity of the moment. Starting your wedding day with relaxation is a gift you give yourself, ensuring that you enter into marriage with a peaceful heart and a radiant spirit.

Here are a few ideas for you:

Start the day with journaling.

Writing down thoughts and feelings is a powerful tool for self-reflection and self-expression, allowing us to explore our thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe and private space. It is proven that journaling can help calm down our nervous system, bringing more peace and clarity. It can also serve you to experience the day in a more profound level of consciousness. Personally, the benefits I see here - are hugely impactful.

Set up a clutter-free space for getting ready.

This one benefits not only your well-being on the day but also impacts enormously your wedding photos. Your wedding photographer is an experienced professional but you would rather have her/ him taking beautiful photos and not cleaning up/ rearranging tables, suitcases, or bags so that the photos can actually be taken. Keep your space clean and minimalistic - you will thank me later.

It is all about your ambience.

Create a soothing ambiance for yourself and the people you are with. It is not only about cleaning up the mess, consider aromatherapy! It can impact the mood significantly. One other thing is your choice of music - have your playlist ready. Here is a Spotify playlist I would listen to.

Do not forget to eat or drink.

Plan your healthy breakfast in advance and make sure you will actually have enough time to eat it. Stay hydrated! It is very common for brides to forget to drink enough water in the morning. They tend to take care of everyone but themselves. Do not do this mistake, feeling thirsty/dizzy during your ceremony is no joke!

Surround yourself with Positive Energy.

In the morning of your wedding day choose wisely your company. Spend time with loved ones who bring joy and positivity and limit your exposure to stress-inducing situations or individuals. Engage in activities that bring happiness and peace of mind - whatever it may be for you.
