Mallorca Destination Wedding Photography at Son Sampol.

Getting married in Mallorca often starts with a simple idea: bringing your favourite people to a place that feels relaxed, beautiful and real. As a Mallorca destination wedding photographer, this is what I focus on – honest moments, good light and a calm, organised presence throughout the day.

Recently, the team at Finca Son Sampol invited me for an interview about how I work and why this venue has become one of the places I enjoy photographing the most. Son Sampol is a historic Mallorcan finca with a contemporary feel: carefully restored architecture, open spaces and a layout that allows each couple to design a day that really reflects them, not a copy of someone else’s wedding.

In that conversation, I shared more about my story, my style, and how I approach photographing destination weddings in Spain, including my recent feature in British Vogue for my wedding work. Below is a summary.

My approach as a Mallorca destination wedding photographer

I would describe my work as a mix of natural moments and subtle, editorial guidance. My style combines romantic, joyful, and elegant imagery with a minimalist, timeless feel. I love clean compositions, flattering light, and real emotion. I want your photos to feel modern today – and just as beautiful in 20 or 30 years.

Before every wedding, I follow a clear preparation process: understanding your priorities, timeline, family dynamics, and the atmosphere you want to create. For some couples, “perfect” means an editorial, fashion-inspired look. For others, it’s all about relaxed, emotional moments with family and friends. My role is to shape the photography around your version of perfect.

Why Finca Son Sampol is a dream Mallorca venue

Finca Son Sampol is a gem among Mallorca wedding venues. It’s a historic finca lovingly cared for by its owners – you can feel the family story in every corner. The venue offers a variety of spaces: charming corners for an outdoor ceremony, elegant interiors for portraits, and open areas where nature frames the reception and evening celebrations.

As a photographer, I pay special attention to how light moves through the property during the day. Soft, natural light at Son Sampol is perfect for romantic couple portraits, while in the evening, I combine ambient light with flash when needed, always keeping the images refined and true to the atmosphere of your celebration.

A visual legacy from your Mallorca destination wedding

What excites me most about wedding photography is the idea of visual heritage. Your wedding gallery is not just for you; it’s something your families – and one day, perhaps your children – will look at to understand who you were at that moment of your life.

My goal is to create a collection of images that feels warm, honest, and sophisticated: candid moments, beautiful details, portraits that you are proud of, and a narrative that takes you back to your Mallorca destination wedding every time you open your album.

If you are planning a wedding in Mallorca – whether at Son Sampol or another beautiful venue on the island – and you are looking for a destination wedding photographer with an elegant, calm, and people-focused approach, I would love to hear from you.

If you’re in the early stages of planning, I’ve put together a practical Mallorca destination wedding guide with tips on the top wedding venues.
